At HBOS, we give our graduates opportunities to achieve their goals in a wide range of settings. That's why we're looking for people who are as interested in growth and progress as we are. Select a graduate scheme

  • Specialist
    These schemes will suit highly career-focused graduates. They’re designed to allow you to specialise in your chosen area and to expand the skills and knowledge you’ve already gained in your degree studies.
  • Future Leaders
    These schemes are designed to build on your commercial awareness and to develop your already impressive people-skills. The graduates on all these programmes really do become the leaders of our future.

    Within each of these schemes, you’ll have a great support network. This will include a buddy (one of our former graduates who’ll help you settle in), a manager who’ll be around for the duration of the scheme to help with your career and placement choices, and a placement manager, who’ll manage you on a day-to-day basis.
  • Summer Placements

    HBOS offers a number of opportunities for you to see what a career in financial services is like and to gain some valuable experience by working on live projects. Working for eight weeks during the summer break in July and August 2009, you’ll add value to HBOS and have a real impact on our business. Depending on your preferences and skills, these important projects could be in any of the following key areas:
