We've made our application process as simple and straight forward as possible.
HBOS application process
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to apply to whichever scheme you
choose. At the same time, we're also concerned about the environment and keeping
the use of paper to a minimum. Therefore, most of our application process can be
done quickly and efficiently online. For you, it's a streamlined experience. For
us, it's a way of using innovation to target the people that will make HBOS a success
in the future.
We believe our application procedure is a two way process and is designed to be
fair and objective at every stage. You'll find an outline of what you can expect
here. Candidates applying to our Treasury and Insight Investment schemes will undergo
a slightly different process.
The closing date for the Insight Investment Asset Management Scheme is 14th
December 2008.
The closing date for all other schemes is 31st
December 2008.*
* Please note: Our vacancies are filled on a first come first served basis,
so we encourage you to apply early.
General timescales
The following is a guideline
to what you can expect:
- We will screen application forms within 10 working days.
- You will have five working days to complete the online numerical test.
- You will have the outcome of your online test within 2-3 days.
- If you are successful on the online test, we will contact you within 5 working days
to schedule a telephone interview.
- The times and dates for telephone interviews are dependent on your availability,
so please allow some flexibility in this.
- Assessment Centres are scheduled for October 2008 through to January 2009 (an online
booking facility is available and the limited places are assigned on a first-come,
first-served basis).
- You will hear the outcome from the Asessment centre within 10 working days.
Clearly, the sooner you complete each stage yourself,
the quicker the whole process will be for you. Please also note, that
once a scheme is filled it will close - so please send in your application as soon
as possible.
